Have you always wanted to be a writer?
Yes, ever since I penned my first short story in first grade. I’ve never wanted to be anything else. Wait, that’s not true. I totally wanted to be a vet for a while after I read James Herriot stories, and there was a short spell where I wanted to be a sheep herder. I really did. But not anymore because I saw a show one time where they chronicled a sheep herder’s life, and it’s really freaking hard. And kind of smelly. And where would I get my Starbucks?
